This explains what Kenshokin stores about you, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

• Your email address, to sign you in and send account and security messages. It is never shown to other players.
• Your game activity: your company name, mark and drawing, your oshi, bets, prestige and league memberships. Company names, marks, drawings, banners hung and rankings are public to other players, and some are visible to visitors.
• Your messages: anything you send through the suggestion box, stored with your account so we can read it and reply.
• Security records: your IP address, browser details and the times you sign in, used to keep your account safe, stop abuse and show you your signed-in devices.

We don't use analytics or advertising, and we don't sell your data.

Cookies

We use a small number of first-party cookies: ones that keep you signed in and protect your account, one that returns you to the page you were on after signing in, one for short on-screen messages, and ones that remember your screen settings. There are no advertising or tracking cookies, and none from other companies.

Who else handles your data

• Render hosts the site and database, in the United States.
• Resend delivers our emails, so it processes your email address.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the site and its players. If you're outside the United States, your data is transferred to and stored there.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data until you delete your account, or until the site closes. Deleted data may remain in database backups for a short time, up to a week.

Your choices

You can change your email address or delete your account at any time from your account page. Deleting removes your account data permanently. To get a copy of your data or correct it, email support@kenshokin.com from your account's address, and we'll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, including complaining to your local data protection authority.

Age

Kenshokin is for adults aged 18 and over, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you believe someone under 18 has signed up, let us know and we'll delete the account.

Changes

If we change this policy in a significant way, we'll say so on the site. The date above shows the latest version.
